Mic Moc - Tarifa

A glutton and a vegan together created a fascinating restaurant

Pad Thai free style

Overlooking the Tarifa harbour and the statue that guards the entrance to most southern tip of Europe sits the quirky Mic Moc.

The concept

Mic Mic is the result of a culinary love affair between a glutton and a vegan, it says on the menu. This means dishes with fine dining touches. Loads of veg and flavour. Inspired by trips around the word. For a fair price.

The Mic Mic, ecclectic and elegant

The talented chefs are gloriously celebrating vegetables and fruits in extremely tasty dishes like a vegan pad thai, packed with vegetables cooked with various techniques, like pickle, grill and puree. A nasi goreng of black rice, with a raz al hanout spicing. Available in normal and vegan (without the egg). Also on the menu some glorious dishes with seefod, fish or chicken, lovingly prepared and served in modest proportions. Our starter with stuffed portobello was a very moorish opening of a wonderful dinner.

Nasi Goreng, not your usual style, but very delish…

Our tip

This is a great place to go to with a picky company. Religious vegan eaters and true carnivores will happily share a table with glorious looking food.
