Spicy crispy Brussels sprouts

One of the biggest surprises for me when I started experimenting with sprouts.

There is a very basic method I use to grill my sprouts. It is the same method I use to grill pieces of meat.

Pre-heat your oven to 380 (F).

  • Make garlic - chili oil in the oven when heated up

  • Clean the sprouts and make them approximately the same size. Put them in a bowl (a handful per person).

  • Coat them with the chilli-garlic oil, salt and pepper

  • Place baking paper on baking tray. Make single layer sprouts

  • Grill in oven until brown and crispy (10-15 minutes), turn halfway. Coll them quickly when not eating straight away

Now you can use them as they are or make a Brussels sprouts Quiche. Just use spicy grilled sprouts in this recipe, and donโ€™t quarter them.

Skewer them and use to decorate a hazelnut risotto
